WTF 6 cars start the US F1 race?

I just got home and they just started the race.. what's up with all the Michelin cars not racing?

Lots of people are booing.. I'd be pissed as hell too.. Pay that much for tickets to get ripped off. F-1 is going to do a lot of harm to progress in the American market.
