I'm allergic to something...
...and it's making my right leg itchy and red and spotty from my hip down past my knee. I know I'm allergic to latex, but I don't remember anything, latex or otherwise, rubbing just on my right leg so I have no clue what's putting me through this hell and therefore how to avoid it in the future.
I can't find the calamine lotion..anyone know any good home remedy for an allergic skin reaction? ![]() |

Hmmm, I do have some ground up oatmeal in a jar from when my baby had a diaper rash and was getting oatmeal baths..I'll have to give that a shot.
I don't have any aloe, but I bet it would feel great if I did! It's not a bite, or if it is, it's not visible at all. I have taken to slapping it to ease the itch, but it makes it hurt. I can handle pain better than itching though, lol. |

try using cetaphil lotion, it will keep your skin hydrated which will avoid itching. other lotion might just cause irritation especially those scented ones

I'll be stocking up at the pharmacy tomorrow, lol..I have little ones in bed and no other adult here so I'm stuck making due with what I have around the house. Thankfully I had thought of at least using non-scented or colored lotion, lol..
And I'm off to soak in an oatmeal bath now. Guess my bits will be especially smooth and soft tomorrow, lolol! |

[QUOTE=spunky]Maybe soaking in warm water..drinking it helping ?[/QU]
drinking water will wash away toxins in our body that sometimes causes allergies....i don't say that it's the only cure but it may help. ![]() |
