Stuck in Miami - GoFuckYourself.com

the time came to leave Miami and head to London. Got to the airport to find out all British Airways flights to London have been cancelled (all around the world i believe).

5.5 hours I had to wait in a line before i could get a new flight organised. No flights on any carrier were available until 26 hours later. However I am now at the Hilton enjoying a very large suite, buffet dinner, breakfast, lunch and another dinner, and also an upgrade to business class for the flight across to London.

So it turned out pretty good actually

I hope the airline is taking care of you while you have to wait. I'd be ordering some damn good food on them.

they did shit all in the 5.5 hours we had to wait in line, except bring some water around... half the people didnt even know the flights had been cancelled, but no one got angry or out of hand.

But the staff here at the Hilton have been great, and so is the food!

The cancellation of flights was something to do with a strike by catering over in London. The ticketing staff did a good job to try and re-route the hundreds of people on other carriers.

However i have spoken to families and they had to wait several days to be able to all get on the same flight to their destination
