Sorry guys but another newbie question... working in Adobe Image Ready... just created a animated gif, but cant work out how to put a border around it ???

Can anyone tell me in real simple terms how I do this ???

Create a layer that has a border that lives across all frames.

but how do I put a border on a layer ??? And then make it appear on all the other layers ???

first off, do it in Photoshop before going to ImageReady.

1) make a new layer on top
2) use marquee too and select entire layer
3) EDIT>STROKE
4) make sure stroke is on 1 pixel and on the inside

should be able to apply a "stroke" to the bg layer
