What Lightning did to my old tree (pic)
Now I'm not sure if it was lightning or if the tree was just blown over but we had thunderstorms here last night and I happen to look out of the window in my yard and see this.
 Thing is that I didn't hear anything last night and my window was open.

Having witnesses the results of a lot of lightning strikes, it does look like it just got blown the fuck over. Also looks like that oak had a serious trunk rot issue and it was gunna go soon.

Thats a shame to see any old growth tree die like that. Ive got a huge old oak tree in my front yard and would hate to see it go.

I have one pain in the ass large tree in my yard. All of the rest of my landscaping is new, a lot of citrus and various tropical fruit trees.
