depends on the bank, some banks are easier than others...some banks make you jumpt through all sorts of hoops, others say, "well, our customer is always right" and run it through

you probably left your signature, which the merchant can show as proof that you had authorized the transaction?with online credit card sales, we do not have that same luxury?we have the IP, avs information, CVV info, etc?but we don?t have a direct link that leads to the cardholder

yep, or they entered the site and didn't like what it had to offer. there are a ton of reasons... a lot of times their relative 'stole' the card. Hell, I used to get calls from wives who were furious about $1 charges demanding the money be credited back to their account. if I was in a bad mood I'd let them have it. It was always fun to tell the wife their husband was surfing porn.

No, it doesnt have anything to do with not doing the sale. You can chargeback if you feel the person sold you something and you didnt get what you paid for.

What about the new "Verified by Visa" process some banks/billers use. Will that hold up?

How many months can a customer charge back? I've had a few do over 4 months of subscriptions, which is a ridiculous amount of time to report a problem!

If the consumer + the bank is enrolled, then you MAY be able to do it, depending on the card?let me ask how many people in this thread are enrolled in verified by visa, or the equivalent with the other cards?you will find that at this point, not a whole lot of consumers?

Its difficult to fight a 5967 (adult) chargeback?my suggestion is to combat it on the front end (watch affiliates very closely, keep the site up 24/7, don?t be misleading on the tour, don?t play around with cancellations, etc?treat your consumers like you would like to be treated with you sign up to a site) for clients that run good sites/businesses, their chargeback rate is very small

That is 10x the limit

100 joins with 1 CB is the 1% rule

I believe rebills are also included in the calculation, so that helps keep many below the 1%.
