Because most are saturated and or suck ass. Well known generally does not mean shit anyways.

I have had checks returned from some of the most well known and biggest sponsors around (ussually just an accounting error easily fixed by email though).

Side note a UK check written in US funds is perfectly fine.
I would just hit them up via email and see what went wrong.

Cos not all sponsors have been around a while, in fact in the beginning, NONE had been around a while.

So if everyone took your attitude none of the sponsors would have become big and been heard of.

I'd say the exact opposite. Unless the account is a US dollar account then no cheque from a UK bank is 'OK' with a US dollar amount written on it. You can't simply start writing cheques out in different currencies. US dollar or dual currency accounts aren't that easy to get. Unsurprisingly citibank do one of the better US dollar accounts around (or at least that I've found).

I'd imagine in this case though that the sponsor in question was using a dollar account and the problem is something else as nobody in business should be that stupid. It makes you wonder what the actual problem was.

Obvious question that people always ask with bigger sponsors - have you tried contacting them and given enough time for them to reply?

Of course an email was sent and of course no reply. I was just seeing if anyone else had this prob. It's not for a huge amount, only 57 bucks I think. It just sucks getting returned cheques. I can't be the only one sending a few sales to sterling cash can I?

last month when Netpondcash switched their checks being printed to hand written checks from the UK, my bank refused to cash it & sent it back to me. So i took it to the boyfriends bank, and they said it would take up to 6 weeks to clear AND it'd cost me $75 in the meantime (not to mention, the amount of the check if it bounced/was voided).

so i emailed Netpondcash and they wired me the money to my checkin account the same week but i was thinkin that might be why it was sent back to you.

Heres what the return sez. And as for giving enough time, I think support is one of the major deciding factors to me for promoting something. Obviously this is not one. But I digress. Here it is.

Just so EVERYONE is clear.. You can write a USD check from an International bank. All you have to do is setup a US fund account at your bank.

I have not had one check bounce, been late on sending out checks or had my accounts frozen by the FTC in the 7 years I have been running my program

To bounce a business check is just piss poor management.

It does not really look like a BOUNCD check in my oppinion. Something went wrong on the route or so it seems no?

Not sure when you emailed them, but maybe the sterlingcash crew is in LA at webmaster access? Or at AOE in Amsterdam?

I have a US account and I live in Canada and I never had a bounced or returned cheque so they just cash them with no 15 day wait for me. So I got hit with the presentment charge and the money taken back. Like I said, it's no biggie, I just don't want a big cheque to do that and was wondering if it happens to anyone else.

Agree - does not look like a bounced cheque. It appears to be a normal NatWest dollar account cheque that got messed by banks or some other bullshit.

Probably a big league money-laundering anti-terrorist investigation is gonna start next for $59.96

Glad you feel the need to give yourself a thumbs up for never bouncing a check, being late, or getting frozen by the FTC in 7 years. Now if this thread had a single thing to do about you I could understand the self gloating, but no. Like many other threads your just in here to to quasi spam by proclaiming to the world your shit never stinks.

To help with your last line. Bouncing a check "can" be piss poor management. In the last 10 years I have bounced two business checks. Both happened due to bank error and they corrected it. Yet somehow in your eyes that would of been piss poor management eh? Oh and by the way if you actually read the whole thread and read the image posted as well, it does not say NSF it says not payable in the US.
