ICQ database import? Help, please!
I installed XP on a different drive and I'd like to keep using this one. I re-installed ICQ (actually the new version, the old one was nowhere to be found) and I'd like to import my old settings, users I've added and history from the other drive. Anyone know how to do this, what files/directories I should copy?
And another thing, does anyone know where and what settings to change in XP in order to open a folder when double-clicked in the Windows Explorer, instead of opening that fucking search box? I have "double-click to open files" selected already, but this doesn't seem to do, where else can this thing be fixed? It's annoying the living crap outta me... Thanks for your help. ![]()

typically we do a backup before we upgrade.
If you went from 2k to xp then shame on you. |

Well maybe I offer just a little help but..
- find the old directory and copy & paste files which are named as your icq number - maybe all directory is named that (can't remember because I am using Miranda Icq instead of Icq) - copy & paste all icq directory ;) - run an icq database converter and try to import all your old data |

If you have the newest version of ICQ it should automatically load all your own contacts. They back up the info on their own servers now I think...you can even login on ICQ on any computer and it will load your contacts...
