Anyone do any recording here? ie: cubase, pro tools, acid, etc... ?

I just got a Line6 TonePort UX2 for my guitar and I'm quite impressed with the recording quality. I'm trying to find a copy of DKFM (Drum Kit From Hell) Sample to experiment with, in conjunction with Cubase... This is fun stuff

I play with reason to background music and stuff for videos... it is quite interesting. The sound quality is quite good (and sometimes I pick up stuff on TV commercials that I know was done with it).

I use Sonar3 Producer and mix into a Fostex VF160 dig recorder - most of my stuff is done on a Korg Triton

We are running Pro-Tools HD2 with the digidesign 192 converter and control24 consule. But my 9 year old neice has all the same gear you guys are talking about. I'll ask her if she has the drum sounds you are looking for.

I use reason and some various sonic foundry (now owned by Sony) tools, like acid and sound forge. I'm just a dj though so just my tables are hooked up.

I've heard good things about the toneports. I do know they use the same converters as the Echo Mia cards (AKM4528)

Get your hands on a copy of Steinberg Nuendo. Similar to Cubase but with more beef. Thats what I primarily use.
