DVD Burner Problems

I am trying to clear some stuff off my hard drive and every time I try to burn a dvd I get the error that says Can not burn dvd. Power calibration error. WTF does that mean?

probably bad media. Try another brand of discs. and/or maybe a lower speed.

If neither of the above works, your drive could be dying.

Power calibration error is usually due to a bad or incompatible type of blank DVD.

Thanks google

Make sure you have the right kind of DVD's for your drive. There is a difference between DVD-R and DVD+R... stupidly subtle difference in name, but they are actually two different DVD formats. most drives only support one or the other.
