i prefer www.ultimatesudoku.com just because i find the interface easier to use. But there's no timer. Just completed an evil one on websudoku in 10 minutes, but i've been chatting. I play this game far too much.

Shit man I dunno really. I guess the process of elimination. I usually check left to right each set of squares, then top to bottom over and over until I can get no more that way. Then I pick out a line or square and narrow them down. I'm addicted I know that.

One I can tell you is let say you have in a square(3x3) 2 possibilties for the number 5.. if those possibilities are on the same line.. let say horizontaly.. than you know its impossible that the number 5 be anywhere else on the "big" horizontal line .. So you can work by elimination..

More than one, last one took 28 minutes but I'm updating a site between playing.

my avg is < 9 evil; < 3 easy

great game. most of my friends, family and biz associates play though many deny being "addicted". I also play on my mobile phone. perfect format for it especially w/ keypad.

When you get under 9 on evil what top % does that put you in? I think my 12 minute one was top 26% or something.

I have no idea. i play with the timer on and it forces me to play faster/smarter. I use tons of marking... but only as last result

keep in mind, I play a lot. I play when I wake up to jumpstart the day... and when I work out on my exercise bike.. helps the time pass by REAL fast.

I don't practice that much. It's all logic.

Don't start filling out the squares where half or most slots are open. That means that the adjacent big squares are mostly empty. Which means more combinations for you in the square you are working in.
If you start filling out the big squares that are mostly empty, it means that the adjacent big squares has numbers in it, which means less combinations in the square you are working in.

Hope you get what I mean
