Looked like a bill.... my assistant prints all the checks and then hands them to me to sign and I come accross one I never heard of before and look at the actual bill for $25. It was for Search engine promotion from some company that I guess buys registrar information for domains and mass mails the registrants. This is the first time I came accross something like this and I wonder how these companies do. I bet they do pretty well

Some companies send out bills for $1k like that... for listing in a directory or some shit.... imagine how many accounting departments just pay it...

I get those once in a while. I'm sure anyone that has registered a domain or two has got one recently as well.

Yeah, they've been sending those out for years now. I used to get them all the time. Not so much anymore. They are cleaver, but I would say only someone naive, or as your said, big billing dept.'s might now catch it.
