xp desktop problem - GoFuckYourself.com

recently had some spyware/adware that was on my pc. when my pc would start up, my desktop that i originally set shows then the desktop would change to a blue page that says my computer is infected with a spyware and i should run software to get rid of it. i downloaded that microsoft adware/spyware beta program and it seemed to have cleaned up the junk. problem is now the desktop still says that message and when i try to change it, it doesn't allow me too. any clues on how to get rid of this?

it's probably an html page. should be easy to fix if you look for active dekstop and properties or something
