I got everything sorted for my TGP got my content and scripts quite a nice domain name www.tinkerbellteens.com just have to start putting together the site The help I am after from you guys is this. A lot of you will have had your sites a few years and over that time changed them around a few times. In your opinions what coloured designs are best for conversions. Is there colour mixes that seem to attract, or colour mixes to avoid where people look at it and think ewww then switch straight off. I am asking to draw on you guys experience as I want to get this right first time and then throw a million or so hits at it start earning So All help at this point is very much appreciated Cheers All |

The context being the Internet, someone will have succeeded with just about every color combination there is. But if there were a more useful answer to your question than "such-and-such has always worked for me", you would find thousands of sites using that "magic" color scheme.
In terms of design in general, you will be offering exactly what many, many other sites already do, so the surfer has absolutely no reason to make any kind of effort when he visits you. So remember that your visitors spend most of their time on other sites and they will arrive at yours knowing how such sites work: deliver them what they expect to see, how they expect to see it, and in the way they expect to see it. Find colors, layout, etc., such as apparently work for several of the more up-to-date looking of the big sites, and you won't go too far wrong. I wish you well, although I find myself wondering why of all the things which might cause you problems, color is the one you chose to post about. But anyway... |
