Switching cell phones...a little help please.
My buddy is giving me a brand new Motorola Pebl absolutely free but the only problem is that he uses Cingular (AT&T) as his service provider and had it activated through them. I use T-Mobile as my carrier.
Is it possible to take his phone and make it usable using my T-mobile plan? Please advise...I'd hate to pass up the opportunity to have a nice ass phone for free because I can't get it activated. |

Go hit up your local t-mobile dealer or hit up google and see how you can convert it. I know there are ways to "unlock" a phone so that it will work with multiple companies. My friend did it when he bought his razr. He has tmobile and he wanted a black one, but tmobile dosn't carry them, so he got one that was "unlocked"
