$24,000 pc
Doesn't seem worth it to me... but this is for the guy who was looking for the most $$$ computer the other day.
http://blog.wired.com/expensivepcs/index.album?i=1 Voodoo OMEN $24,000 This Voodoo PC is the ultimate geek status symbol. The 2 terabytes of storage, 4GB of RAM and an AMD FX-60 Dual Core processor show you value performance. The machined case -- finished in your choice of gold, copper or nickel -- show that you must do everything, even manage your spreadsheets, in style. Apple comes close with their elegant G5, but Voodoo smacks of exclusivity: you'll feel like you have the toy that no one else does. And with a price tag of $24,000 that will probably be true. Check out the specs here. http://www.voodoopc.com/transactions...3-7c0fa9caaff6 |

the specs are good, but not great. If you want a big boy server go for one of the Sun SunFire's. Your looking at around 500k new, 300k used.

Instead of the gold, could I get mine with an x64 processor and 128GB of RAM?
Thanks.

The other day I actually priced out an Apple Mac G5 at Apple's store with their fastest dual processor, 16 gigs of RAM, RAID system, two 30-inch monitors, etc. to be well over $25,000...
I love the fact that once you beef up your order like that, the site says "Your order qualifies for free shipping!" They should blow someone for ordering a system like that.
