I still remember the first time I came out to AZ to visit before I moved here. It was the stangest feeing walking out into the heat from an air conditioned building. It literally felt like an oven. You definitely don't get used to it but I'll tell you one thing. The weather between Oct/Nov and Mar/Apr definitely makes it worth it.

Ya ought to try it with 30% humidity!

Mad dogs and Englishmen may stay out in the noonday sun ... But TEXANs?

Sent The Cowboys to N TEXAS for SUMMER CAMP! TWICE. And then there's the 100 mile bike race in August. NUTS!

After 2 years of actual Spring that lasted more than a week, it has already hit 100, the skeeters are swarming and the water smells like mud. Oh yeah, and they are trying to outlaw smoking OUT SIDE.

CAL I FORn YA here I come.

I just got back from Vegas. I'll take Vegas' 105 over the 90 degree weather here in the northeast.

My first trip to Phoenix was in 1990, and I too was stunned by the heat. It hit like a blast when you walked out of the airport AC fir the frist time.

I couldn't stand the heat there, and after five years I was getting used to it. I just moved back to California, outside of Sacramento, and it's beautiful weather here.
