Disney Kills Another Child On One Of Its Rides

This time at MGM Studios here in Orlando. The Rock'n'Roller coaster. Disney's been killing off kids left and right lately.

Sick of being a parent? Time to plan that vacation to the magic kingdom your child's been nagging you for.

According to state records reviewed by the Orlando Sentinel, this would be the seventh person to die at a Disney attraction since the Christmas season of 2004.
And that's just here in Orlando! I think they've killed some off on the west coast and in Europe as well.

Sure that's all true, but it makes the story, and this thread, far less dramatic.

That is what I think. If you look at it like a town, Disney must have as many people in it as a small town. People die in small towns from accidents so they will die in Disney Land from accidents.

The last thing Disney want is people dying as it costs them a shit load of money in bad publicity and compensation.

I think the govt should make a law that disney puts more labels on their brochures. Also, if there is going to be death in the theme park you have to be 18 or older to enter. Better yet, let's shut disney down after we fine them and put them in jail.

My regards to the family; but welcome to the real world!

"The fastest ride at Disney is Epcot's Test Track, which can reach a speed of 65 mph."

My daily commute exceedes that by 100 mph. And the weak shall NOT inherit the earth!

If the ride applies 4 to 5 Gs, it going to kill some people. Disney prolly has the usual warning signs up.

saw it on the news. I'm surprised they even heard about it.

I hear Disney has a way of hiding these accidents.

Check out the clip from this article - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13618240

"The Orange County sheriffhahaha8217;s office said the boy was 7, but Disney said he was 12. The discrepancy couldnhahaha8217;t immediately be explained."

If he was 7, then he never should've been allowed on the ride. Then again, the parents would have to be fucking supid to let their 7 year old on that ride.

yup they have an area they keep people that have broken the rules or the law, etc. It was a kid that was on a field trip with us that was very stupid and tried to shoplift from a Disney World shop. He was 12 and once he walked out the shop he was grabbed and taken to the 'jail' and kept there for a couple hours before they attempted to contact the people from the school he was with - once of which was his mother. She went mental both at him for being dumb and for them for not letting her know they were holding her child.

Sounds like unlawful confinement to me. They don't have the authority to physically detain a person that I'm aware of.

Sure they do if he was stealing from them. They can make a citizens arrest and detain him. I believe they are supposed to call the cops though.

I actually went no it last summer, it was pretty bad ass. It's like a mental thing because while you're moving through the line, you see it take off which is pretty amazing how it shoots ya out. I enjoyed it, my son, who was 13 at the time got pretty sick from it though, but he wasn't used to going on roller coasters and thought that he'd act tough, ha ha ha.

Right, they had a right to hold him for the cops but as he was 12 and suddenly vanished from a school group it would have been wise to inform somebody from the school.

The first time I went to Disney World my sister (5 at the time..me 7) walked off with another family. We stopped for drinks at the fountain outside of Small World and when she turned around she saw people dressed in similar clothing to us walking away and followed them. My mother went mental. Luckily Bekky found her way back to the fountain where I was on look out. Can you imagine not knowing where your child is in a place as huge as Disney? She still can't hear 'It's a Small World' without wanting to throw up.

He was an idiot kid for stealing but they should have informed an adult in his group.

That would freak me the fuck out!!! No milder way to put it. I think they DEFINITELY should have informed his mother, and called the cops immediately. I would have kicked someone's ass.
