Yeah. That's incredibly amazing.. Oh well, now to make it more profitable, now that so many are dropping AdSense.

I wonder if they're happy with their lives though. Its hard to even imagine all the responsibility and politics that come along with being worth $14 billion.

hey 580 million is still not anything to laugh at even if facebook gets a lot more. Shit for somethign that cost those guys probably a couple thousand and 3 years max of work, 290million each is pretty good.

Isn't face book college email address only to get access? that really limits your market, hits, and revenue. i wonder how much they are making from that site and how it could justify being worth that much.

Wasn't myspace generating like 40 million a quarter ? ( i don't remember)

The Walmart famliy still blows everyone away, insane how much money that store makes.

I want my name on the top 400 list and i want my source to say: PORN

if you are not happy with 14 billion i can gurantee you that you will not be happy with less money.

Having a lot of money will never make anyone unhappy. If you have a lot of money and you are not happy, then nothing will ever make you happy (money is not your problem it is something else). You can easily give it away, take a stack and walk away, or hire people to manage it for you, easily. You can't easily make it.

The my space guys got only a few million, I made more trading the stock than the founders got, sad but true they had already sold myspace to intermix for around 3 million devided by 9 people. After they got aquired murdoc gave them 2 mil each + a salary to stay on. So basically the myspac guys gave away the site, and the facebook guy is going to make them look like morons.

Not bad for a couple college kids experimenting.. Google's startup was in a dorm room..

I'm surprised that the college didn't demand a piece of the action in that these guys began their quest on the college's computers..
