Crazy since the account receiving the spam is ONLY used for adult sponsor programs...

What does this mean?

Either sponsors sell the webmaster list to people or a LOT of sponsors are getting hacked and having the lists stolen and then sold to spammers by the hacker.

Either way it doesn't look pretty.

I think it means that you get about 10 times LESS than most of us....

These are just the spam that my email thinks might not be spam so it should give me the option of viewing it if I want to... I have no idea how much it deletes because it is from a know spammer or contains spamming keywords or has Sexually Explicit in the subject line.

I own a golf site that gets about 6,000 spam emails a day... I never knew how many ways you could misspell Viagra or Mortgage... lol

Noticed the same thing. I used to get about 10 a day as I am very careful with my email. It has really increased lately.

If those emails are on a server where you have root access, go the sponsor and change it to something unique... filter all the old ones into a "probably spam" folder for awhile.. once you know the sponsor is using the new address, update your email virtusertable to return a nouser message to the spammer for the old email address....

My inbox is almost clean now.
