Cowboys/NFL Football fans.. what do you think?
Well Drew Henson the #3 (and who was predicted by so many to be the new Dallas GoldenBoy is getting cut or traded)
So many teams seem to do this now. Take a risk on guys that were good players & see if they can become something. Now I understand the risk factor. But say in Hensons case, he hadn't played in 3 yrs and then comes in & the Cowboys actually have up a good draft slot to trade for him from the Texans, THEN pay the guy millions.. & what now they're dropping him. I understand the risk/reward concept, but then dont pay the guy MILLIONS.. just doesnt make sense to me. (they did the same thing with Hutchinson & then the Bears gave him a try too) Why? Maybe someone can explain what this trend is?

Parcell's philosophy is that "you cant stop progress"
Henson lost the backup spot to Romo. My theory is that Henson did something really bad, cussed parcells out or just simply asked to be traded. Its really the best move for him, he might make it somewhere else. |
