Anyone Play Fantasy Football???

Hey Everyone,
Less than 45 hours till the kickoff of the season. We just drafted in our office 12 man fantasy league for screwbucks.

I think my team rocks, but then I look at every team and they all look tough, so I am holding off on my optimism.

Anyone else play??? How did the draft go???

It's a computer driven program that allows you to follow every player live as he scores/catches, or runs for yards. It details your drafted players, so your chosen, (drafted) players match up each week against another player's in the league.

I got to tell you, as a football fan, I thought it would be silly, but it is soooo much fun, it's addictive. You end up watching and cheering for players on teams you couldn't have imagined. I highly recommend it. You can join leagues even through the beginning of the kickoff Thursday night.

In our office league, there are 12 of us, and we each have 7 players, a def and a kicker. We can't gamble, so our beloved owner, kicks in a healthy prize to the winners of the playoffs, as well as the champion.

Oh the prize money is more than worth our attention.

If you are a webmaster and want to enter a free contest for $10K check out www.screwicide.com You just have to pick one game each week and pick the winner, to advance to the next week. Last man standing gets the $10,000.

For our pool, it is a lot pride on the line, cuz it's with everyone I work with.

I didn't get a top 3 pick, so I went very risky and went with Peyton Manning.
I have a stud reciever in A. Boulton, and 3 rb's in Willie Parker, Frank Gore, and Mike Bell. Hoping that is going to hold as with 12 teams drafting, it is hard to got a perfect team.

I'm playing for the first time and it looks like I've already fucked up on my draft. I did ok with RBs and WR, but I'm kinda screwed on QBs, I have Plummer and Brees, ha ha ha. I guess that lesson to be learned is next year, pick a great QB first. It also sucked because I got 7th pick outta 8 people

Hey Slick, I'm not sure you fu*ked up, rb's are a smart way to go. I just had to try to be out of the norm to hope that maybe that could work.

What rb's and wr's did you get?
