movie "The Ice Harvest" how did I miss this???

I know this movie is a year or so old but I never saw it in the theaters and just caught it tonight on cable.

I really liked this movie. Very dark, but I like dark movies. Lots of twists and turns and a fucking GREAT ending!

I give it 2 thumbs way up!

I just finished watching it for the first time about an hour and a half ago.

It was excellent.

Yeah it had the kind of ending (or last 15 minutes) that makes you say "wow this movie is deeper than I thought it would be.

I didn?t really care for that movie. It did remind me of the most excellent movie Falling Down though. In fact after I finished watching the Ice Harvest I immediately watched Falling Down so I could try to quickly erase it from my memory? it didn?t work. =(

ice harvest? i picture the snow queen from the lion the witch and the wardrobe, and a farm of elves making ice sculptures. somehow i'm betting that's not what it was about though.

Looks like a good movie. By the way, that'll be the second time John Cussack and Billy Bob worked together. The first one was on Pushing Tin alongside Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett.

I ripped it off the newsgroups when it was in the theatres and watched it on a plane. It was great.
