You might try finding other parents on the web who've been down the same road you're about to travel. When my daughter got sick it helped immensely to talk to other parents who knew exactly what we were going through.

I am so sorry to hear. I know how terrible news about kids feel. My youngest daugther has Cerebralis Pareses (severe) and will never have a normal life. We know she wont get very old.
