Hey Lars (cams.com) SexSearch is stealing from you!

I clicked a google ad word for "cams.com" and as soon as the cams page came up a SexSearch page poped right over it.

I wonder if anyone on GFY paid google for that spot. I wonder how much they pay per a click and if they know that if any of the more then 20 million zango infected users click their google ad spot they have little to no chance of getting the sale, nor do you lars.

Gotta love this spyware shit. So are you guys for it or against it, or is it ok for SexSearch to bid on "cams.com" on zango and steal your traffic and waste you or your affiliate's google ad words money ????

CLICK TO MAKE PICTURE BIGGER!

please note the key word: kw=camsdotcom

Well it doesn't have to be illegal for affiliate companies to ban accounts of affiliates who send spyware joins.

yeah sure. The best thing IMO is to get a PC that you can Fdisk when you are done with it and load up zango and other spyware programs.

I am sure DH and his friends have a list of installers if you need it.

See what Lars had to say in this thread about AFF being promoted via spyware. http://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/661832-adult-friend-finder-please-fire-affiliate.html

I doubt there will be no difference in what they will say in this thread.

Tranza, you send traffic to TCG I assume judging by your sig? How would you feel if you found out someone was clicking on your TCG link, and they received a pop up promoting cams.com and you lose that sale?

So Tranza, do you REALLY get it?

Will maybe we should try to get Google, 2CO, & any other big site involved who this spyware junk might be affecting.

Just today I was walking some one through a 2CO check out order page for me since I dont trust my computer and out of no where I get a new window open up for pays2shop.com.

I'm sure if this happens to people not aware of this spyware bullshit it could cause people not to trust these companies any more.

And you know google is all about a better user expierence when their using their search engine.

Just a thought.

I know I'm tired of it. I've tried so many different spyware removers to clean my lap top & everything I've tried has failed.

Monday I will be buying a new lap top just to have a clean computer to work on. I refuse to pass this shit on to my visitors.

Many of the programs I own will not allow me to download again so I'll have to buy new software that I already own all because of spyware.

I hope this shit comes to an end soon.

King of Queens, ZoneAlarmPro and the spyware blocker in my sig have kept me spyware free for over a year. What one doesn't catch the other one does. They used to have a free scan on their site a long time ago, I don't know if they still do. Give that a shot if they do.

Lars has time to bump every AFF and cams related thread but "can't" find the time to respond to these threads. people calling him out in those threads and he responds to everyone but those people.

very poor way of doing business...

At this point I am thinking their attorneys, as well as some of the other sponsors here who wont reply, have told them not to publicly comment on the issue.

funny if you are not doing anything wrong then you shouldn;t have to worry about what you say....

I agree Will..they are avoiding it for a reason and whatever that reason is, it only reflects poorly on them...they are allowing themselves to look guilty and that they condone whats going on.

at this point instead of just being upfront and responding as the other sponsors have in these threads they are going to have an up hill battle doing damage control at some point in time.
The thing is at that point it may be too late as they will have lost honest and valuable affiliates that have been with some of these programs for years and have sent them hundreds if not thousands of sales.
They arent the only game out there...they can be replaced with sponsors that step up and are attentive to the affiliates that want to do business with them.

this isnt about US getting spyware, its about the surfer/customer/our traffic being hijacked by programs that steal our sales from us.

Some of these programs are "willingly" installed by the surfer not knowing what they are getting themselves into and some are installed as parts of other programs they choose to install such as some file sharing software that has this spyware bundled with it.

you really need to read ALL of these threads on the subject and educate yourself

and you might want to read the sig rules here on GFY as well
