Moving S-Corp to a new state

Moving from the South East to the North East. Is it easier to move the existing corp or to close and start a new one? Any thoughts?

I just did it and the process is the same as clsoing and reopening. It is a pain as you get a new tax id.

the best answer is to ask a qualified attorney but......

you can do business in other states even if your corp is setup elsewhere. It will have tax implications so you will def want to talk to an attorney and CPA
