Well also if she is getting 1000 uniques a day and converting at the rate she mentioned she is getting about 200 new members a month. Depending on the retention that must be a massive membership by now....

No need to go doing anything radical if that is the case.....

Retention is not 100% thats a dream we ALL want.

Yesterday i had 898 uniques to the main page
9 signups.... thats 1:99 and thats to the main page, not tour, not join but the main index page itself. I am not gonna tell you how many members i have or how much i make a year....Cut the crap

I was being sarcastic. Nobody is gonna tell anybody how many members they have anymore than they will tell you how much money they make. They may tell you, but they will be lying.

That is great conversion, but where is your traffic coming from? Obviously not TGP's. Guys that are saying 1:300 probably get traffic from many sources, some great, some good, some bad, some terrible. So when you have a bunch of traffic, and you are still converting 1:99, you are kicking ass.
Buy some traffic, if you wanna see some traffic not convert.

Like I said, that is not enough traffic to really get a good idea what your conversion rate would be if you had 100 times that traffic.

I hear you there.... You know how many times i have heard " boy wait till i put your link up, you will be SWAMPED with traffic" It has NEVER happened!
So for me to raise payouts because one of one person? No thanks, the idea here as far as I remember is for both parties to make $$

Good point, so you could end up doing 60% on a site that is doing 1-1000 instead of 50% on a site doing 1-500.

I see what you're saying and the bottom line is WHAT YOU CONVERT AT, not what they convert at. This month I have affiliates doing 1-26 and one doing 1-2600 and one who can't convert on 3500 so far. So it's all about what you do.

The problem is it costs money to get a site to convert at figures you want, the money has to come from somewhere and don't argue extra sign ups until you understand. Seems to me you want 1-100, 60% minimum and every tool man has ever invented to drive traffic. Life is not like that. It costs money to do all that.

Not trying to have a go but just telling you how I see it. I can pay 65% because we do not pay for content and the rejoins are very good.

Debs, have you tried searching out a few similar paysites and offered to trade members traffic or exit traffic?

Truth is no one in porn stays for long, it's a boring medium and the grass is always greener, yes we all have members who have been with us snce day one but the money is in the new guys. When they leave you earn money and better still you earn money from getting a sign up back from partners.

Two way street.

I am constantly seeing guys trying to come up with a new niche or looking for one that converts. Well, DeepThroat Does period.
Deepthroat is rare, i see sites ALL over that say DEEPTHROAT...They dont really go ALL the way, or the male has a lil tool ....

I just wanna let people know its for real, not going anywhere, heck i have been online since 1999...started the site in early 2001...I worked on ifriends for 2 years....from 1999 to 2001.... I hear what you're saying.. but paying out 60% on no traffic and no sales isn't going to have any effect on you. And I didn't say you have to give everyone 60%, just the ones that won't promote you without it or the whales. I have 60%+ with several sponsors that only give 50% to the masses.

My point is that I've made this a rule for my business and I rarely break it unless I really think I might kick ass with something. You're post was asking how to get big traffic people and I gave you some things that would help you get that traffic.

Because most amateurs don't know how to set it up... deb has some info now so should be able to resolve that issue.

You see it from the standpoint of a program owner not wanting to give up some cash. I see so many amateur sites out there that offer 30%, 40% etc. and get no affiliates and then whine about how they're not doing great etc. But they balk at giving someone 60%. But when all is said and done, 60% of something is better than 30% of nothing.

All I've been doing for the last 5 years is promote other peoples sites. I'm not like a lot of affiliates who want a shit load of tools. I just want/need some basic things, after all, you're "hiring" me to promote your site for you and to pay for the traffic you wouldn't get access to in the first place. So to do my job, I need some material. "Affiliates" are part of your marketing team. If you're building a shit load of things to market your sites yourself.. why would one balk at building/supplying that for the affiliates. Your site needs to be marketed and all that material needs to be built one way or the other

Getting good conversions isn't entirely up to the program owners. If I'm getting 60%+ and I see that the conversions are "decent", I'll spend some time working on my promotions to try and improve that. But that's what I do as an affiliate, I know most don't do squat.
