List of VISA compliant service providers...is your billing company on this list?

if they are not, you might want to worry a little

Prior to june 30, 2007, anyone processing credit card payments online
must be compliant with the Visa Cardholder Information Security
Program (CISP). It is based on the PCI data security standards.

Is there a rest of the world IPSP? If not, if an IPSP is not listed on any of these three PDFs, they are not official/sanctioned by Visa???

If this is the case and your not with a company on one of these lists, you are risking all $$$ you have with that company.

How do you know ibill is still compliant? Or are you just guessing?

You all need to read the fine print. Anyone not compliant would not be able to process, period.

So much for the witch hunt.

And Paycom, CCBill and Yahoo! Stores are past due. What's your point? Do you even know what CISP is?

Besides, Paymonde and Verotel aren't US based. Not sure about Netbilling.

And what ryuken said is incorrect. You don't need to be compliant to process. Though if you aren't compliant, you may face fines or limitations.

You are correct KrisKross, I just talked to one of my reps and she told me the same.

I wouldn't worry too much about Jace's point, I was also told he's someone else's doughboy who has an axe to grind, and that he has no clue what he's talking about. But if you want a blog setup, for 50 bucks, he's the expert.

just guessing, basically making an assumption

I know nothing about processing, I just found that list interesting

I never intended to start any witch hunt, I was posting a list that I was posted on another board and was making guesses just like anyone else who saw it and doesn't understand processing fully

He isn't sharing, he specifically mentioned processors, which is more inline with shitstirring.

I'll take the word of my processing rep who have sent me 6 figures a month over a leaf blower who has no idea what he posted.

Thanks.

You do need to be compliant to have a merchant account that runs live transactions and you actually get paid.

Why would you repost something that you didn't even understand. Within minutes of your post, misinformation was spreading to other threads. Pretty unprofessional to say the least.

Visa's CISP site says otherwise. And the fact that Paycom and CCBill continued to process between 9/30 and 10/31 despite being past due also proves otherwise.

Stick with the big money of installing blogs, you don't seem to be very knowledgable about anything else.

Verotel is an EU IPSP and this document only details those processors based in the US which are required to be compliant with VISA USA. We are fully compliant with VISA EU and are in good standings with the association.
