Is it safe to clean TFT monitors with water?

I always use this special liquid, but it's finished,is it ok to use some small quanity of water?

i clean mine monitor only with clean towel.... nothing more...

use bleach and a wire brush..

it should not hurt anything as long as you use alot of water

Water will not hurt it at all as long as you are not dousing it with it though if you don't 'buff' it right you will get those annoying smudges.

well, i clean everything with water - keyboard, lcd, case, ... only one keybord stopped working because i cant put it together the way it was before
