"Casino Royale"........My Take On This Movie

Best Bond movie ever, and best Bond ever in Daniel Craig. A great show. Go!

I predict Casino Royale will do for the Bond franchise what "Batman Begins" did for the Batman franchise. A new lease on life! Very entertaining and surprising. Well done!

When I first heard that Daniel Craig was going to be the new Bond I was like WTF?? But then I saw Layer Cake and could really see him as Bond.. Am looking forward to watching the movie, I've been hearing nothing but good things about it.

He gets quite sadistic in it, which is good to see actually, as its the more realistic portrayal of what a James Bond character would actually have to experience. Well acted, the script is tight, the character development is very good........its a really good flick!

I have to go see it now, when I was a kid 8 yrs old they used to have triple james bond features(Dr No, From Russia with Love and thunderball). My poor dad after working all day would take me to them.

Tony, you won't be disappointed, but make no mistake; this is a SERIOUS Bond movie. It has a sense of humor, but the childlike campiness that accompanied many past Bond films is gone. The script actually has a brain behind it.

Its the longest Bond movie but the pace was very good; lotsa early action and then suspense with the card playing, for example. His love interest is also smoking hot and simply beautiful, the lovely Eva Green, and their relationship is handled well.

Paul Haggis helped write it so that tells a lot (Crash). Its a smart script, especially for a Bond movie.

I agree. It still had a sense of humor but the silly stuff was gone.

The girl didn't do much for me.

daniel craig is a great bond .. plays the early bond well, rough and not so sauve. can't compare him to Sean, two different Bond Movie types .. completely different direction in Bond Movies from Golden Eye on.

i'd venture to say he's better than Brosnan however.

I have heard nothing but good about the movie since the critics put their foot in it and panned his performance only to do a back flip and fall in line with public opinion!

I am really looking forward to seeing it!

I really liked it, the foot chase at the begining was un-real , it was like spiderman trying to catch Jackie Chan. This Bond was very raw and very smart, the most athletic of all the bonds too! Not too many gadgets, more pure nerve. I hope he makes another just like it or even finds room for improvement. This was the first story that Ian Fleming wrote about James Bond and someone said it was first published in Playboy. here's a cool page for Bond Fans http://www.playboy.com/arts-entertai...es_bonds_desk/

Have you seen it yet, Sarah? Craig is dynamite as 007 in this one. I actually think they nailed who and what a James Bond would really be, act like, and respond too. He would actually be sadistic in ways and "enjoy" killing the bad guys.

i only watch bond films that end in a factory type of setting with people running around in all the same outfits and where a voice is counting down for some sort of explosion.

Wait i just described every bond film
