Firefox2.0 will not download anything

Has anyone here ever seen a problem with Firefox2.0 in which you can not download anything at all?

I can not even right click on an image on a web page and save it.

The "downloads" windows never pops up and never has any thing in it.

Ne1? Ne1?

Thanks

FYI to all...

I deleted "downloads.rdf" in my Firefox profiles directory

Firefox created a new one when restarted... that file must have been corrupted.

It is now working again.

Add this to the knowledge base.

Kind regards.

could be your firewall or virus software preventing it.
it thinks its malware trying to get in.

start firefox in its' safe mode (from the start menu), its almost certainly one of your extensions causing it. start disabling them one by one

I havent had that problem yet. My biggest issue is the constant locking up.
