Domain Registra's should be neutral

I think domain registras should be neutral and not responsible for policing the content of the names, what do you think?

I agree. They should report stuff but not try and police the net. What's next? Independent registar owners who fel gay stuff is offensive? What about sites with toys? There are some states in the US that outlaw vibrators.

Fucking power tripping is what it is. They should report and then take direction from the courts or authorities. We don't pay them fees to play policeman.

I think that domain registrars are businesses and are free to choose who and what they do business with. They should give those that they no longer wish to do business with 1-2 weeks to move their domains to another registrar and then let that be that.

Maybe I misunderstood your question. No, I don't think they should be held accountable for the content on domains registered through them. But I still think they should be free to choose what kind of domains they want to be associated with.

Then use a different registrar. It is not like there is a shortage of registrars willing to do business with the adult sector.
