Question for the gamers
Ok, so im surfing craigslist and keep seeing these ps3's. every ad has to point out "****with receipt*****".. What the is the thrill of having a receipt? Are you expected to frame the fucking receipt and put it on the wall. Why are they hyping it up like your buying the receipt and the console is just some peice of shit that comes with it?
someone fill me in.

The receipt helps establish that the item wasn't stolen, that it actually is a ps3 that they have in their possession, and that you will have a warranty with manufacturer (many manufacturer’s require you to send a copy of the receipt along [to verify date of purchase] with your product for service).
