A public apology to webcams.com - GoFuckYourself.com

Hello and happy new year!

Most of you have never heard of me before. I spent a very brief period of time posting on GFY. This post is my public apology for a stupid mistake I made back then. Whilst I don't imagine much real damage was done, this has been bothering me for quite a while and now I can finally come out clean and beg for pardon. So, here is my story and confession.

I am a professional web developer, dealing primary with backend systems, traffic analysis, routing, security and such things that run invisibly behind pretty websites and flashing things on landing pages. Some time ago, I was informally contracted by webcams.com (via GFY, which is why this post is here) to do some remote maintenance and extension of their software. I am very sorry to admit I could not stand by the commitment I entered. Since I come from the "other" industry (gambling), I had to verify with my peers that they have no objections to me working on this project. Unfortunately, shortly after I started working for webcams.com, I found myself in a very dire family situation, and had to lay the work off for a week and then another. By that time, my other employers engaged me in a very serious project I could not refuse, and part of their demands was to break off contact with the adult industry immediately. Since I was excited and didn't think the move through clearly, I basically disappeared without saying a word to webcams.com, and it has been bothering me ever since.

To my defense, I have destroyed all records and access credentials I had pertaining webcams.com the moment I got the notice. I will also waive whatever money webcams.com owes me (probably something around $150) and hope no one is upset at me too much. I would also state in public that I've seen webcams.com software from the inside and I'd be damned if I've ever seen such meticulously planned, thoroughly engineered piece. They are serious guys. If you haven't tried them yet, you damn right should!

I am very sorry for having done this, and I hope I get properly condemned for being such a moron.
