Question ABout Blogs.

Hey All

I plan on starting a few personal blogs - in which I want to gain traffic and interest from. I'm very new to it though. What does wordpress actually do? and If I want to run maybe 10 blogs, do I need a .com for each individual one, on different servers, does that affect google traffic in anyway? Any sites with information for people who are new to wordpress/blogs.

Thanks In Advance

Personally, I would put each blog on its own .com and I would put each domain on a different Class C.

The second part can be done easily at www.gotwebhost.com

I would go with DreamHost. One click installs and you are good to go. Good support, unbelievable bandwidth. and cheap!

Each subdomain is treated as an individual site by google, however if you want to do interlinking within your network different ips is preferrable.

I would recommend getting WPMU, setting it up on a domain, having about 30-40 niche subdomain blogs. Then copy everything to a different host on a different domain, change enough things to make it seem different. Rinse and repeat.
