Please advice me how to properly or how most effectively convert live cam traffic in cams.com?

Some says it's best to froward traffic directly to models and some says just forward traffic to the index or homepage.

Which is better?

You need to send your traffic to
matching landing pages.

Asian to asian landing page.

BBW to bbw landing page.

General to index.

It's painfully obvious, but:

Just test all the options for yourself! Statistics will give you evidence of what is best. You'd better rely on that, instead of other's opinions.

What I do on Cams.com is promoting the models, not the site. Use the images on the models biopages to promote each model, and send the traffic the the index page. This has been working great for me. Especialy on cams.com.
