2much Responds to Telus

It's an understatement to say we at 2much Internet Services felt dismay and disappointment upon hearing this week's decision by Canadian cellular provider Telus to drop adult content. Telus was the first major North American mobile service to offer adult content in the form of images and short video clips, and we were optimistic this would be the event that finally pushed adult onto the mobile networks in a big way.

Telus was pressured by media, customers and shareholders. It's bullshit.

Shooting up? Shares went up by maybe 6 or 7% since they launched the service. And then only dropped 15 cents when they discontinued it.

Who's to say it's directly related to them dropping adult content. It's not the first time the shares have dropped $0.15. I'm a shareholder, so I watch it close enough.

Rogers is worst. They charge me for calls I don't even answer. At one minute per unanswered call, I get a dozen of those per day according to my statement, they are screwing me more than $1,000 per year with this scam.

This reminds me of Hilton pulling porn from their room pay per view...then every other hotel chain added more.

I'm amazed considering how open Canada is to sexuality. Hell there's hardcore porn on the cable channels at night, and not the staged crap, we're talking full on DP's and whatnot... Telus is a big company with a smalltown mindset.. You'd probably be better off dealing with Bell, they already have porn in their network (they have porn channels on their satellite service).

Telus has porn channels on their IPTV offering in BC, AB and eastern Quebec.

This far from Telus being anti-porn. They were the first North American carrier to offer mobile porn. The problem is, our entire continent has a stick up it's ass when it comes to things like this. The ironic part is that there's still plenty of unprotected porn accessible on the web through Telus phones.
