Jace, question - I was about to post about them using the default NATS code as well, but that's possibly because of their gimped setup to attempt to use NATS as their member management? Who knows.

Honestly, it's all fucked up. Mike69, what you're PRETENDING to do is NOT difficult.

If they're using NATS for member management, they should automatically cascade to CCBill, which would pick up the cookie. Amazing.

well, the ONLY situation I can see where this would be an honest mistake is if someone was SO NEW that they had no idea they had to import the ccbill data into nats, and instead they just did a simple html redirect to the new nats join page, thinking that would be enough to keep sales going for affiliates

but see, here is the thing, I talked to 4 people on icq that ALL know this Mike guy, and know he is smart and a very talented person, plus he has apparently been in adult for a long time...so, to blame this on a rookie or newbie mistake just doesn't cut it

wow, you actually have absolutely NO idea what you are doing, do you?

a meta refresh does not pass ANYTHING whatsoever man, nats importing the ccbill data is a detailed and time consuming process and has to be done very carefully....a simple html snippet on the top of the page won't do it man

jesus, all along I thought you really had a clue, but in reality you have no clue what you are doing...LOL...

ccbill and NATS join pages need to be SEPERATE, period. if you have ccbill affiliates, they NEED to be hitting that ccbill join page, otherwise they won't get credit for sales

if you have affiliates pushing traffic through ccbill links and you are sending them to a NATS signup page like you are, the ccbill affiliates will NEVER get credit for those sales, as we have seen with the recent speaking up by affiliates that haven't had sales in a month or two

if you are moving from ccbill to nats, the best thing you can do is basically let the ccbill affiliates still use that ccbill join page and if they want to sign up under nats and use that join page, then fine, but don't take away the ccbill join page, you are cheating affiliates out of sales by doing that

and with that, I am done...I am not even sending traffic, and I tried to help at first, then got ignored and then laughed at, so I just am giving up

it was a 10 second fix so that affiliates can get sales again, but you don't care about that

see your not getting it...

Its not just the refresh, which was done just beacuse I was to lazy to go change all the links at the time. There is way more to it... what part of way more don't you get?

There are ways to manage sites in NATs and CCBill only.
We do it for a few of our sites, so we can still honour 3 year old Raven link codes. As I posted above, it's NOT hard, you just need to know what you're doing. Furthermore, it's all done serverside, so it's transparent. No need for circlejerks.....

Have a look at it.... Hit ESC before it refreshes and look at the code..

Correct..

We had no intension of forcing webmaster to switch to Nats.. and at the current point, the Nats system has 0 affiliates in it.. it is simply being used to get quicker better stats and handle the membership stuff....

Whats going on will be made public tomorrow... you'll be surprised...

Pulling the redirect disables the Nats membership system.

Go ahead.. explain how easy it is to stip out the Nats Membership control system and rewrite another. Sorry its not .htaccess

There was no intentional "scam" here... despite what some would like you to believe...

Heres what happened.....

We had Nats installed and decided to use the Nats membership system right away.

This required sending joins through Nats...

In CCBill admin there is a column "Referral Sales"... after the change this looked normal...

Every time an affiliate makes a sale, we get an email.. looked normal...

We don't payout on CCBill affiliates, CCBill does the payouts...

But what did happen was Nats is sending CCBill a bogus Refer ID..

and CCBill allows the refer id in the cookie to be ignored if this is done.

The membership control system has been rewritten, and the Meta Refresh has been removed.

Intentional "scam" no way.... system glitch yes..

And we are making up for it.

If there was no scam, how do you explain not noticing that your affiliates weren't making any sales at all?

Well since your a seasoned programmer, that should sum it up....

But, let just say, You might not be able to get your stats in NATS, BFD atleast the affiliates would of still been paid since you say Dec 06.

.htaccess on the sites with
both htpasswd and database-based authentication

I have seen the CCBILL Emails

When a sale is made you get
New Subscription 01070xxxxxxx (as the subject)

You didnt notice the drop in emails???

and if an affiliate made the sale you get this also
A web partner has made a sale (as the subject line.)

You BOTH don't login and see WOW same sales or you said sales are even DOWN, and my Checks are BIGGER...
You dont check to see where your affiliates are sending sales from, just to see or check and see if it is Legal and so on???

Wow....

I just reviewed this with Mike now and all appears to be fixed. This issue arose originally from an attempt to use half of NATS and half of CCBill. Mike has now moved the system to use CCBill only and when the move to NATS is made it will be done 100% so this issue does not repeat itself. If anyone finds any further issues with the system please contact Mike and he'll be glad to address the problem with you.

You Might not OWN it, But lets see your moving it to your Domain / Program without veiwing any stats????

Then where is the OWNER ??????????????
The owner have nothing to say on this????? Or just enjoying the Checks???

I am sure that person will say, I thought my programmer was watching it...

But, I heard you were partners.... Was going to have a huge contract signed! Even move to your CCBILL or atleast your domain / program well seems that part is taking place....

Just checked 3 browsers Netscape, Firefox, and IE-- All still have the *0 affiliate

As far as what site, I looked for Ashley Brookes on Google, and found affiliates sites via that channel.

Goodluck with it

This appears to be pointing at a faulty tour. The main join link on that tour seems to point at nothing and the smaller join links seem to point at a NATS join link. I am addressing this with Mike.

Interesting, tried 2 different computers, multiple browsers on each and still getting it.
