domains are only going up in value.

2-3 years ago, for example, LLL.coms were selling for 3-5X less than what they are now

still alot of money to be made in domain names, don't let anybody tell you otherwise

The original gold rushes are long over too. But you still see people mining gold don't you. Just like with that rush, now it is mostly the big companies making the money, but small timers and startups can make a buck if they work at it and really try.
