Hey Alky, let's talk about Oxcash... I see them in your tag. Do you make lots of money with them, or did you see that big sites use them so you may as well get people to signup under you?

What? That was very useful information.

I helped my father do it at least 50 times and what they dont tell you is the stench is nauseating. Could never get used to the smell of deer guts. Esp if its cold out and its a fresh gut pile. smells terrible. My dad loved the smell. But I think he was just playing macho.

How can it be that mathematics, being after all a product of human thought independent of existence, is so admirably adapted to the objects of reality?

Being that the natural human way is to apply logic to all that appears chaotic, we have simply found the patterns that exist and repeat throughout nature and given them a name.

I am thinking tomorrow morning I hope I am putting better than last week, and that my irons aren't pushing to the right again.

Other than that I am thinking whether to have another rum and coke and do a bit of work or just go to bed.

Me and Gary were just having this discussion.

I am of the opinion that if you understand mathematics, you come closer to God than any theologian ever could.

I have had the opportunity to talk to a couple of hardcore math geeks, and I always ask them about God in math. Some say they cannot even express it to me in words, because there are no words to describe what they see in and with math.

Damn deep stuff.

nice fractal. what i also find interesting, is that our formal mathematic structures (which on their own, are meaningless) are very well-suited not only to this physical universe, but conceivably all (infinitely) possible universes.

Being that mathematics are the basis of our ability to explore the universe, discovering new questions to ponder as a curious race, applying them to eachother would be perfectly natural.

what we happen to use mathematics for, is not really the question (if there really is a 'question' i'm aksing). the question is why do our most complex formal mathematic 'structures' and theorems work so well (almost as if by design) when applied to this universe, and conceivably ALL possible universes.

it can be argued that purely formal mathematics does not require our physical universe to 'exist'. unless you are from the school that formal mathematics is really just a reflection of the wiring in our brains.

i'm certainly not offering any answers, just stream of conciousness. closer too god indeed :) Labret - yes, I minored in Philosophy, majored in Genetics.

I find it difficult not to search for a question within your statements as they open so many doors, so I pose one myself; Is it possible you are addressing "Hyperdimensional Physics", which itself applies a more philosophical approach to dimentional possibilities?

Fractals are cool. They represent fractional dimensions. We normally understand 1, 2 or 3 dimensions, fractals are products of frational dimensions, like 1.324 dimensions and such. It turns out these fractals have been observed to represent natural activity itself. Pretty wild.
