Never before has there been a social bookmarking website that was dedicated to the adult world. Websites such as Digg, del.icio.us, addthis, and Fark have proved time and time again that social bookmarking is a great promotional tool but no one has ever catered to the adult element until now, SmutHunting.com caters to the adult community, both surfers and webmasters.

How to best utilize Smut Hunting.
First the obvious, add Smut Hunting to your list of link lists, TGPs, MGPs and search engines you submit to regularly. Then, when ever you create a new gallery, free site, story, paysite, blog entry or whatever, add it to you Smut Hunt bookmarks.

Secondly, replace all those "Bookmark Us" links with links to Smut Hunting. If your surfers like what they see at your website they will bookmark it and come back later, however, a bookmark on their computer does you no good, but a bookmark on Smut Hunting will give you maximum exposure while giving your surfer a one stop spot to their bookmarks from no matter where they are in the world.

LOL...no shit....and here I thought that bookmarkers to my site was a good thing...i will be sure and inform my members now to delete the bookmarkers to my site and replace them with bookmarks to smuthunting.com

I think public bookmarking is a great thing... just see what Dig-It and del.ico.us are doing for blogs... why can't social bookmarking do the same for porn?

I think if a person commits to a project like this and develops it on continues basis it has a chance of being successful. Anyway, it can't hurt to try?

I would not replace traditional bookmarking, but pornoholics might just dig to show off what they like in a public way, and who benefits from that? We, with link popularity for example.
