Nice hotels in Tampa Bay?
Looking at going for the Cybernet Expo in June and coming in a few days earlier. Is their shopping/restraunts etc around the hotel that the show is taking place?
We are mid 20's, like to go out for some drinks, but not the huge dance clubs etc. Trying to decide if I should book a room someplace else the first few nights then head to the show hotel or just stay at the show hotel the entire time. Tampa People Help Me! |

Hyatt on the courtney Campbell cswy. It is right by the airport, and has some nice rooms. The Cabanas that are on the gorunds, but not attached to the hotel are awesome.

You will be surrounded by good restaurants.
# The Bamboo Club Asian Bistro # Bar Louie # Blue Martini # Cafe Japon # California Pizza Kitchen # The Capital Grille # The Cheesecake Factory # The Grape # PELAGIA Trattoria http://www.flemingssteakhouse.com/ upscale dining and a strip club http://www.thepenthouseclubtampa.com/ Im sure there is more. You could probably walk to these locations, but you'll probably want to take the 2 min or less cab ride. The hard rock has floyds. Its not worth the drive when you got all the other places that are right by the hotel. |

if you are interested in staying at a hotel on or near the beach, you should definitely check out the renaissance vinoy in st. petersburg or the don cesar on st. pete beach. both are extremely nice and you are treated like a king
