Still using a shitty 2.53 Ghz P4 system that I built a few years back. It has worked flawlessly and still runs everything I need though.

I've been wanting to upgrade my entire system since late last year but I always keep putting it off. I must have configured systems online to purchase about 10 times, but then I always end up scrapping the order.

E6600, the best C2D imo (price vs. performance, ease of overclockability). And it's sexy!

Same here, still using the P4 2.53GHz system that I built over 4 years ago. It runs everything I care about and is still going strong, well, appart from the graphics card -the venerable 9700Pro- that died late last year. I grabbed a used X800Pro off eBay cheap to hold me off on AGP for a while. There's no point in getting a better AGP card at this point, they're so much more expensive than their PCIe counterparts it's not even funny, plus this cpu would bottleneck their performance big time.

But an upgrade is inevitable, I've been delaying it for such a long time... I'm gonna try to hold off until the 45nm processors, DDR3 ram and the 2nd generation of DX10 cards come out. Not sure I'm gonna be able to wait till then though, with a couple games out and couple more coming soon that I'm interested in, and this system won't cut it.
