Who here has had or has now a battle with....

DRUGS

I said it.

It makes you stronger or it destroys everything no?

Tell me your story if you dare.

As personal as my life is most of you know where I am on about anything. If you care to share, I'm listening.

I'm glad I went through everything I have. Luckily I made it through it all so far.

i've tangled with alot of different drugs, but i guess i just grew out of the nightclub/raver/have to stuff myself with chemical cocktails scene , and am muxh happier hitting the bong, drinking beer, and eating the occasional bag o mushrooms now...

i know it's been said a million times before, but a person with a strong mind will go into drug use and be able to freely enjoy themselves whereas some can't. they either don't eduacate themselves on what they are doing and abuse themselves in ways they can't even imagine out of ignorance, or wind up causing themselves severe mental anguish due to stress already involved in their lives. i think anyone who approaches drug use intelligently will usually come out a little enlightened to life, but of course at a certain expense.

when you look at the big picture we're all fiends anyways, everyone has their addiction. we;re bread into it, it's forcefed to us, whatever the vice may be, so who's to judge. i don't care what cheimcals you want to pump into your body as long as you aren't robbing me to feed your addiction.

random half drunk blabbering, maybe it made sense, made it didn't. oh well...

agreed. moderation is a motherfucker when you haven't tamed the lion. fortunately for me i made it through the dark place, now its a physical game and not a mental one.

Didn't you used to be a cop? You were a druggie too? IS there anything you HAVEN'T done?

My favorite line in a movie relating to this subject was in "Kingpin" with Woody Harrelson.

ESPN Announcer: So Roy, where have you been for the last fifteen years?
Roy: Well, I uh, well, ya see, I uh... Drinking. Lot a drinking.
ESPN Announcer: I see. Well, are you still drinking?
Roy: No. I uh quit... I put... uh... Why, you buying?

I've seen more drugs in a single day than 99% of gfy'ers do in a year.

I spent 3 years working for US Customs Drug Interdiction K9 unit,, got fired for smoking weed with my dog.

I have probably done more drugs in one day than most gfy'ers have done in a year

one memorable day about 8 years ago I did: 1/4 ounce of cocaine, full pepsi bottle of ghb, 25-30 ecstasy pills and 1 ounce of shrooms...all on my own...LONG fucking day, and MY GOD the come down was horrible, but that is what I had xanax for

this was after a year of building an insane tolerance...lol...drugs just didn't affect me the same as they did most people..hah
