Everytime I think of the Grand Canyon I can't help but think of the episode of the Brady Bunch where most of the family (Cindy and Bobby are off running around with a runaway Indian) gets locked in a ghost town jail by an old prospector (Mr. Howell!) and Mr. Brady gets them out by using his belt to snag the keys.

Did you see any old ghost town jails?

I love that episode because my family took a trip to the grand canyon and most of the national parks back in the early 70's. And yes it was in a station wagon pulling a pop up trailer just like the brady bunch, lol.

Great pics, looks like fun.

Grand Canyon is awesome! I went there last summer for the first time. I thought about doing a helicopter tour too or riding a donkey down but we decided to do it the old fashioned way... and hiked down! Only made it to the first water station though, which took 2 hours as we were completely unprepared. The guides said it takes about 8 hours to get to the bottom!

Top of the world

Yeah, i've been twice and never made it either. We always either end up running out of time, or money

That's why we're thinking of actually booking the Canyon trip early so we know we have to do it, before anything else gets in the way...

I talked to a guy on the plane who was renting ATVs and going riding in the dessert - THAT sounded fun too!

And speaking of the Grand Canyon, I want to get on this:

we did the GC two years ago and took the heli trip to havasupai. very cool. did the horse trek down to the falls also. I want to take a model there for shots.

Expensive trip, but once in a lifetime so worth it.
