Photoshop Question
Is it possible to transfer the guides from one PSD to another?

Nope. You cant unfortunetaly.
![]() The only trick that exists is making a copy of the PSD with the guides, take all the layers out and copy the desired graphics into that PSD. |

never heard of that, but I guess it's possible. Are the two images the same size? Could you just open the image with the guides and save it as something else and just paste in your new image?

Unfortunatly i flattened the layers on the comp with the guides. I was hoping to transfer them to the un-flattened original PSD.

You can link all of the layers together (except for the background layer) then click on the ARROW on the top right corner of the layers palette. From this drop down menu choose 'NEW SET FROM LINKED'. Once all your layers are in a new set, you can just drag and drop the whole folder into your other, flattened comp.
