Best grilling food for a big group of people?

Looks like we are having a group of about 10-15 people over saturday evening to do some grilling and drinking before we all head out to the bars to end the night.

Gotta find something that is easy to grill for that many people and looking for any ideas!

Large group, assorted appetites - Kabobs.
Beef, Shrimp, Chicken, Lamb, whatever. Plus wide assortment of veggies and marinades/sauces. All marinades will work quick anyways or you can pre marinade.

Pre slice meats, veggies ect. Make a side dish like a pasta salad out of orzo, or just so normal orzo or rice.

Also as a tip. When grilling them keep veggies on one stick meats on another ect if your smart.

Just remember to pre soak any skewers if wood, or use metal (suggested), can get fancy and get some sugar cane as well.

Yeah, kabobs are nice, plus you can prep them way ahead of time and just let them sit in the marinade....

I suggest metal skewers, the wood ones burn no matter how much you soak them.

Hiya Sosa,
Carne Asada and Pollo Asada are easy, and already marinated at your butcher shop or super market...then all you need is the tortillas, and sides. Make it a Mexican theme..

If not, I have done this and its great...

Leg of lamb, racks of ribs, or rotisserie roasts (if your grill has a rotisserie) all work great for large parties. For the non-meat parts of the meal, I find making it a pot luck is much easier, and people get to show off their potato salad making skills.

I'd do pork fatribs

if you really know how to grill, none of your friends will shutup about how good it is and keep asking for more grill parties at your house

i think burgers are the easiest for a large group of people. you can get the patties pre made, and with just a few different kinds of cheeses and toppers, everyone can have the burger they want, very easily.

also, burgers play well with lots of different sides. they're relatively cheap, easy to setup, and clean up, and i don't think i've met a person yet who doesn't enjoy a good burger.

Unless someone doesnt eat red meat or carbs.

If you go that way also pick up a few portobella shrooms (whole)

most people dont know the difference

I know i said to do ribs on the grill, but normaly I cook mine in the oven and then finish them on the grill. Unless I feel like firing up the smoker, but there isnt a big selection of wood here in Vegas. Thats one of the things i miss about living in Texas.
