OK...try to stay with me on this one.....

I have a friend who has a friend....That friend's name is Anthony. Anthony found out that I pay a referral fee for models so he contacted my friend who in turn contacted me.

So.....Anthony takes a pic of this lady but has no way to send it to me. No problem....Just have her come in for an interview.

This is where things start getting interesting.

Anthony shows up....He's all cracked out. Apparently his mother was a heroine addict and so is he. These days he spends his time doing whatever kind of drug he can get his hands on. Along with Anthony comes this lady he wants me to meet AND some other random lady AND the random lady has a baby in a stroller. Oh...I forgot to mention that the lady I am to meet also has brought her baby....Also in a stroller. Oh...And her baby is autistic and is constantly screaming at the top of her lungs. This is not an joke or an exaggeration. NON STOP SCREAMING.

Now, the lady I am supposed to meet is not attractive in the least. She steps into my studio....leaving her screaming baby and entourage outside my studio...and this is how the conversation went:

Lady: My camera batteries are dead. Do you have any batteries?

Me: Sure....(so I gave her batteries and she showed me the pic.)

Lady: So how does this work? Anthony told me if I brought you this topless pic of me that you would pay him $100.00 and he will split the money with me. Is this legal?

Me: Yes it's legal but that's not how it works.

Lady: Well, I'm really broke can we still get the money since I showed you the pic?

Me: No. But you can keep the batteries. Thank you for coming in.

I had something very similar happen to me. At my old studio, I held a casting day and scheduled a bunch of girls to come in for test shoots etc if they werent able to provide photos for whatever reason. Out of 8 girls, 2 brought thier babies in stollers, and one other brought a toddler. I couldnt believe that shit. One girl came in with the baby sat down and before I could turn around and take a seat at my desk she was already disrobing. Now this chick didnt know me from anyone but because I placed an ad looking for nude models etc she was ready to get naked. She wasnt bad looking at all but the fact she had NO issue with getting naked in front of a bunch of strangers, no premption whatsoever and with her child in the stroller RIGHT there just irked the shit out of me. The whole interview took less than 30 seconds. She didnt even get down to the 3rd button. I was like whoaaa hold on.
So I just told her thanks for your time etc and her homie, who brought her in, wanted the finders fee. Um yeah... no thanks.
I thought it was only crazy fat chicks who did this kind of shit.

I've had this kind of experience in the past as well. That's the junkie mentality, they think they can get around things and take advantage of you at any angle they can work.

I've had a chick or two show up for photo and video work completely wasted, one was on heroine, track marks and all. They show up with some dipshit boyfriend of the moment (who is usually also high), thinking they can wing it and muddle through the shoot by the sheer brilliance of their beauty and will score the easy money. Wrong. Home they go with nothing but a "never come to work high again", that is if I ever call them again.

None of the idiot guys with them have gotten stupid with me, but I'm sure if I had of kept on doing that line of work it would have happened eventually. Junkies are pretty stupid and short-sighted that way. They'll steal you blind if you turn your back on them.
