musically I can see that being amazing but vocally Robert doesnt have it anymore.

That's interesting because Robert Plant was quoted on the Rolling Stone site this morning as saying that those claims were just rumours.

I'd still go see them.

Sometimes the song doesn't always remain the same. (pun intended)

My guess is that if you go back to the 70's and see the band live then, you would probably be disappointed the songs didn't sound like the album then either. Robert Plant is a soulful singer, and to some, it would probably sound like its all over the place, but some musicians like to explore other possibilities with their songs.

Everytime I have seen Plant or Page live, they have never sounded like the original album version.
