How do people get Auto Dealer Licenses without....
having a lot?
I'm in NY and I have potential clientele overseas and I'd like to go to the auctions and deal but I don't have or need a lot. I sometimes see dealers without lots...anyone know how they do it?

dealers without lots have just a wholesale license, then they cut a deal with a retailer to sell the cars to private property (ie they sell the car to the dealer for cost, dealer sells, dealer gives check to wholesaler for asking price - a dock fee. I used to do it, good money in it
